Jahmyr Gibbs Begs Ben Johnson to Come Back in 2025
When the Detroit Lions dominated the Dallas Cowboys at AT&T Stadium in Week 6, former All-Pro cornerback Richard Sherman shared the same conclusion as many others. Sherman witnessed a team playing with retaliation in mind as the Lions easily defeated the Cowboys, 47-9. The well-respected former athlete asked Lions running back Jahmyr Gibbs a question about that game on a recent episode of his podcast. At several points during the game, I considered calling the police because of what you guys did to Dallas,” Sherman said to Gibbs. “I felt like, I couldn’t figure out exactly what the crime was, but it was criminal.” Gibbs acknowledged, not surprisingly, that the team wasIt was lying with retaliation in mind. Remember how the Lions fell to the Cowboys on the road last season? It was partly because of a controversy surrounding the refereeing at the conclusion of the game. “Whoever believed that to be correct,” Gibbs remarked. “We needed to retrieve that one.”
