  • In the first half of the game against No. 2 Georgia, the Florida Gators were doing enough to keep ahead of UGA, but in the second quarter, some unfortunate injury adversity arrived. DJ Lagway, a rookie sensation, attempted a leg play but fell awkwardly to the turf, grabbing his hamstring and staying on the ground. Shortly after, a cart was brought out onto the field for him, and the young player was taken back to the locker room.The way he was clutching his hamstring was troubling, but the fact that he had to be carried off the field and back to the locker room raises even more concerns for this team. The Gators are hoping to pull off an incredible upset against the Bulldogs, but the mountain has become much harder to climb because of this Lagway injury, so the Florida defence will need to step up to a new level. As of this writing, the unit has looked sharp, forcing two interceptions from Carson Beck in the first half.
